VACANCY FOR RESIDENT YOGA INSTRUCTOR- HOTEL IN MALAYSIA

Salary: RM 3000 + 5% commission on wellness treatments

Food & Accommodation: Provided from the hotel

Primary Responsibilities

• To set up, conduct and lead yoga classes twice daily for in-house and walk-in guests of

the resort and spa.

• To this extent, the yoga instructor is solely responsible for the setting up of the class,

including preparation of yoga mats and equipment, if any, and the cleaning up of the

yoga pavilion after the classes.

• To act as backup spa therapist and provide spa treatments where required, in this

aspect, training on spa treatments will be provided.

• To organize, plan and lead wellness activities for the yoga and wellness retreats at the

resort.

• To engage in administrative tasks related to the above.

Services & Duties

• Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal

customers.

• Demonstrates standards awareness, by setting example for standards execution,

standards testing and implementing action plans to achieve established product and

service goals

• Assist the General Manager in promoting the spa & wellness programs and driving

sales.

• Assist in any area of the spa as may be required due to operational needs.

• Ability to work after-hours, on weekends and public holidays, as needed.

Qualifications

• Internationally recognized Yoga certification.

• Minimum of 200 hours of experience.

• CPR/First Aid certification will be an advantage.

• Knowledge of the Chakra System, Pranayama, mantra and mindful meditation.

• Business and administration skills.
